We offer several very good restaurant POS systems. We carry Windows Based PC systems like Digital Dining resturant POS systems but also ROM based systems like the SAM4s SPS-500 series of POS registers that do not use hard drives, or operating systems.
We give you several options unlike other people in Seattle that only offer one choice and lets face it a 20K system is not foreveryone but neither is a $3000.00 system so we have it all.
We have been in business in the Seattle Tacoma area for over 30 years and have thousands of customers. We also service and support everything we sell and offer supplies from ink rollers to 3 1/8th" Thermal Paper.

Seattle has multiple sales tax rates?
YES Seattle and King County has two sales tax rates depending on what you are selling! And yes the two sales tax rates can apply to the same business depending on how it is selling the items. I'm not going to quote rates or try to replace the experts at the Department of Revenue but please reserach this out to make sure you are charging the correct Sales Tax rates on your products.
Here it is in a nutshell Retail Goods are at one rate. Retail goods in this case mean non restaurant food or beverage. Prepared food and berverages served ready to consume at an eating establishment is a different sales tax rate. Here is the KICKER if you sell both you must collect the proper tax rate by item. Lets say you sell hot dags and soda but also sell t-shirts and hats. The food is one sales tax rate the T-Shirts and Hats are another even in the same transaction!
Click here For a good Cash Register in the Seattle Area that can do this. Lets hope it does not get any worse and we end up with three rates! Don't even get me started on desination tax Washington also employs!

What will 2011 bring in the way of cash registers?
2010 was the year of SAM4s as far as Cash Registers go. They dominated the market with several new models that have features and prices that Sharp, Casio or TEC just can not touch. I expect more of the same in 2011 as they seem to be an agressive company with a passion with whooping the competition.
Here is a great ling if you are looking for a Cash Register in Seattle then look no further then National Business Systems who have been around since 1972 and going strong. They can offer many value added options to your cash register like credit card interface, barcode scanning, gift card integration and more.
Wishing you all a great 2011

SAM4s SPS-500 Series Cash Register is the one to beat
So as we start a new year at NBS we predict that the SAM4s SPS-500 series register will still be the leader of the pack. 2010 was a great year for this Hyvrid cash register and we don't see anything on the horizon that would change that.
If you are stuck in the middle of needing more then a cash register but not quite ready for a computer based POS system then you need to look at the SAM4s SPS-500 series system.
The line up of this model include:
Don't wait another year!
